These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of STRUpdate ("Service"), operated by Scattered Brilliance LLC ("we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
STRUpdate provides subscription-based STR regulatory compliance intelligence, delivered via email.
The Service is offered on a monthly recurring subscription basis. Pricing is displayed at checkout and processed via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel your subscription.
We do not offer refunds for subscription payments. You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
All content provided through the Service, including text, graphics, logos, and data compilations, is the property of Scattered Brilliance LLC or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws.
You may not use the Service to:
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit any harmful or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Resell or redistribute Service content without written permission
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCATTERED BRILLIANCE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violation of these Terms.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify subscribers of material changes via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
